In this alternate universe, a catastrophic event had occurred, leaving the city in ruins and Vergil as one of the few survivors. He had been forced to adapt to the harsh conditions, using his Devil May Cry abilities to scavenge for food and resources. The hooks on his forearms were now a necessity for survival, allowing him to climb buildings and retrieve items from high places. Despite the desolation around him, Vergil remained determined to find a way to restore the city and bring back its former glory.
